I have just found out about the latest iPod called 'Touch'.

Now I love my classic iPod (yes one of the original ones) at home and my iPod shuffle when on the move but i am slightly worried about this new version.

Whilst it looks sleek and glamorous, as you would expect, I was dissapointed to hear that it has an in-built speaker so you can listen to it without headphones. Apparently this is 'perfect for casual listening'.

Only if you are at home and not sitting on the bus commuting to work having to listen to someone elses appaling taste in music. It's bad enough being able to play music aloud on your mobile phone!

Rant over. I'll probably discover it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Anyone got one so they can let me know how good they really are?

Kim

I have an iTouch, and I love it - can access my e-mail and web in wi-fi access areas, can make notes, listen to music, watch videos look at photos etc... It's good for me when I'm travelling for business coz I can look on the internet on GNER trains and I usually stay in a wireless hotel...

Though, I wish I had the iPhone (and I will or maybe a Blackberry when my contract is up in January) so I can access the tinterwebs at all times.. lol

I won't say its the best thing since sliced bread but I'm a fan...

My iTouch hasn't got an internal speaker in.

Maybe it is just the new version that has an in-built speaker.

I'd quite like mine to have one, if it wasn't shite.  I don't do inner-ear headphones.
