Son No. 2 (in year 3) is taking part in his last Nativity next week, after that he's too grown up and graduates to 'Carol Concerts' instead. Last Friday the playground was full of excited kids rushing out of their classes to tell parents they either had group parts or single parts in the play..
Friend's son 'Mummy Mummy I've got a part in the play..
Friend 'Lovely darling what are you?'
Friends son 'I'm a sheep!'
Son No. 2 (too cool for school) strode out not looking at his letter confident of a lead role - (he was Joseph last year)
Me: 'What part have you got Archie?'
Son no 2: 'Dunno something good I haven't looked'
Girl: 'Archie I'm the Angel Gabriel what are you?'
Son no 2: (smug look on his face!) 'Haven't looked yet'
Me: (after rifling through his bag) ' You are... a Camel!'
Son no. 2 
'Oh come on!!'
Lol....still I'm sure he'll be the best!
