I'm just digging a programme about The Clash on BBC4 and am wishing I'd been old enough in the 70s to have seen them live.
Got me wondering .... which singer/band, dead or alive, do you wish you'd seen? (Or alternatively, which band/singer are you determined to see before you die!?)
Best wishes,
Alison

I used to hate her. When I was 16 I met my boyfriend's cousin for the first time - they were very close and I wanted to make a good impression. She said something mildy derogatory about Kate Bush and I joinjed in and really slagged her off. Was pretty embarrassed when it turned out she was quoting something her friend said and actually she was KB's biggest fan.
Didn't matter much anyway because it turned out my boyfriend was sleeping with his cousin behind my back ... grrr.
Anyway, now I'm older and (not much) wiser and I quite like Kate Bush's warbling now - except for Cloudbusting, can't stand that song!
Best wishes,
Alison

Queen. Fred got sick and they never toured again once I was old enough. Love them or loathe them, I think they are one of those bands that you feel you *should* have seen.
I saw the Rolling Stones a couple of years ago in pretty much the most unplanned way possible. In the same way, even though I was never a huge fan, I'm really pleased now that I caught them before Jagger carks it. It was an awesome show.

Saw Queen - was too young to appreciate it really - just imagine what they could be doing with Sound and Lights now!
Wish I'd seen Genesis with Gabriel

Yeah i'm with you on the Genesis with Peter thing.... That would have been something. I've seen Peter many times solo though - without a doubt the best series of concerts i've seen.
