Don't normally watch it but daughter had it on so watched and thought her performance was very wooden, certainly didn't deserve the standing ovation she got.

I didn't watch it but saw a bit on the tele. If I was a contestant, and thankfully I'm not so I don't have to stab myself to death, I'd be well pissed off that they all had to sing live but she could go on and dance a bit and move her lips.

I thought she was awful, didnt look as amazing as the papers and magazines keep saying she is, the Xfactor contestants are way above her (some of them anyway).
Im glad she is - supposedly - better, but I think its been a bit quick to say she is over all her mental problems - that will take a lot longer. She is probably full of medication and thats why she didnt have much to say apart from obvoiusly pre planned lines when speaking to Dermot.
And WHY does he suck up to the guests so much? Its embarrassing.

Awww you guys, leave poor Britney alone. She certainly doesn't have it easy. Millions of people watching her effectually sell her body so she can pay her dirtbag ex husbands alimony and child support, whilst he leaves her kids that he 'won' and goes out and parties, and her psycho family trys to syphon off every bit that they can get.
Besides all that, she's a pop star. They've never really been known for their talent, just their image. And she's certainly got the publicity gig in the bag. She rocks drama like Mick Jagger rocks wrinkles. It's awesome.
