I appear to have crushed my PDA beyond repair (with my car!) and I'm now stuck for 3 months until I can upgrade (half way through my 2 year deal with O2)..... I'm already "feeling the pain" of having to give up 24/7 email/internet/contacts/diary access etc.
but a trusty old friend, my Nokia 6230i, has been dusted down, charged up and after an hour of faffing around it now accepts email in primative form - wonderful phone, but it's just a bit basic, lol - blokes and gadgets :-)

I'm 9 months into a 2 year contract with free upgrade after 11 months, so i guess that's a bit steep Jay?
