Hi Sean,
I'm a newbie round here, but like Simon, I have installed it and used it on a Mac Book Pro - worked like a dream, the only BUT is be a bit careful about how much of your drive you allocate to it! Other than that, I would thoroughly recommend - prefer it to Parallels, which I have also installed and worked with. VM Fusion is less fuss to boot up.
Good luck,

I had used that for a time on my Mac....works perfectly. Recommended, if you need to be an infidel and load windows on a supreme machine!

Thanks Guy's the only reason I ask is that the imac pakage im looking at comes with VM and XP pro already installed plus an extra 2Gb of memory.
Never had or even used a mac before so I am doing my homework before making a purchase!!

Our developers who code on Macs use it here (to test all our work on IE and Firefox on Windows) and love it, (saves dual booting into Windows XP all the time),
It only works if you are using one of the new intel Macs, plus if you only generally use one application it has a 'Unity' mode, which runs the selected program actually on the Mac desktop (but using VMware for emulation).
The more memory you Mac has the better for running VMware, as in reality you are running 2 operating systems at the same time, plus what ever software you use as well.
