Just found Twollow which is a simple tool for auto-following people on Twitter. Once you've logged into it, it allows you to set keywords for subjects you are interested in, then it will constantly track the public timeline for you, adding any feeds that seem to be relevent.
Seems pretty cool, I've put a few phrases in and will see if it works well.

So a business could use it for reputation monitoring Stefan? Ie. to see what's being written about them.
/ And going off topic slightly, a geek has worked out to turn his house lights on and off remotely using Twitter. Something you never knew you needed but now want.

Precisely, a bit like the Google thingy. I have, as you would expect, entered the search term '4Networking'.

I keep sending the txt msg "feed the dog" but the cupboard door isn't opening and the tins are not emptying into the dogs bowl!
I think my Twitter is broken

I've already tried "finish my work while I have the day off" ....
...but that doesn't seem to work either!
It's still in Beta testing. I think that's coming in the full release early next year.

Really does work! I just had a tweet from someone who had mentioned 4Networking - which is the only search term I currently have, I am now following him, so it works.

So you autmatically follow people mentioning you key phrase? I reckon it'd be better if you just got to see the post - otherwise won't you start following millions of people (unless you make quite a specific term?)
But if it's good enough for you Stef!

Think that through though. Every time you start following someone they get an E-mail to tell them. Then they'll look at your tweets and, if they're interesting, will follow you, expanding your audience.
Definitely good enough for me.
