Good news -   The HMRC will operate a light touch for errors in the first return following the changes.

Reminded me of light touch paper and stand well clear

 Any change HMRC have introduced for the last five or so years has always been announced with the mythical 'light touch' for errors.  Unfortunately, they don't always tell their visiting officers...!
