BUSINESS 4NETWORKING [Another possible contract for one of you ???]

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has issued a contract notice for construction of the Water Polo pools for competition and training during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

It is envisaged that the works will comprise the design and construction of the pools and associated elements, including decking surrounds, walkways, handrails, plant, filtration, pool heating and plumbing systems and pool drainage. There may also be a requirement to carry out site preparation works and/or some general building works. The groundworks, envelope and services are not included within this scope of works and will be procured via a series of other works packages.

Following the conclusion of the London 2012 Games, the pools may need to be removed/recycled as part of the scope of works, together with the potential relocation of one or more of the pools.

Interested bidders may only express interest via the eTendering website. Expressions sent by any other means will not be accepted. Those expressing an interest must complete a PQQ and are advised to submit expressions of interest (EOI) at the earliest opportunity in order to allow sufficient time for completion of the PQQ. Please note that interested bidders must meet the ODA's mandatory pre-qualification requirements.

The deadline for expressions of interest and completed PQQ submissions is Monday 12 January 2009 via the eTendering website.
Those successful in qualification will be invited to tender.
