That's really interesting - I've been quite impressed by the marketing for the Blackberry Storm but the opinions of someone as techno uber geeky as Stephen Fry would definitely influence me. I loved his short-lived geek column in the Guardian Weekend magazine. Shame he's gone off exploring in South America and has stopped doing it now.Mind you, he took weeks out while he had a broken wrist - I'm sure he could have dictated to someone!
Best wishes,
Alison

I've only just discovered the power of Steven Fry from the above link - some are claiming he has killed the BlackBerry Storm with his review of it and he has 20,000 twitter followers so his opinon counts!
Its interesting how many have disregarded twitter labelling it 'abit of fun' or 'waste of time' I think it is going to be hugly influencial in shaping people opinions and also in its distribution of up to date info between people, its a 21st 'chinese whispers' although without the dilution of message.
4 networking should really get on to using Twitter it could/would help grow the network even faster
and also get any news out to a much wider audience!

If anyone prefers updating via Facebook - or wants to update on both - there are some apps on Facebook to send one message to both systmes. I never log in to Twitter and do all my statuses via Facebooki but installed the app so I could have a Twitter box on here and my personal journal.
Best wishes,
Alison
