Brad's launching his new book soon, and I've suggested he should consider doing it as an e-book instead of, or as well as, the hard copy version.

You haven't put beg, borrow, steal, barter, win in a competition or get one ordered in the library.

Having a real book is where its at. I'll pribably release hardcopy first then a podcast version, all up in the air right now, what i do know is we got a Publisher on Thursday, with an expected late November release date.

when i read you were doing a book,  i thought.. here we go.... another crappy "get rich, motivational piece of tosh" (yer, i try to be honest!)

And although i haven't read it... THAT cover is brilliant! it already makes me want to pick it up and have a gander...

it may be crap, it may be brilliant! but dam it looks good and by that point people have paid for it ;)

Trust me Luke, this book rocks BIGTIME. Its none BS, straight talking stuff you need to get small business out of boom, bust.

Never been a big e-book reader; they're fine if you're doing sample chapters, or it they're short reports - but for full-on books I always prefer something I can pick up and read.

That said, if you're prepping it for print, it should take very little extra work to create a downloadable version - sell it for less through the 4N site (since you already have a captive audience - and you'll likely make a bigger margin due to having next to no distribution costs

Its not about the money Mike. Honest its not, its about the exposure and move towards mainstreaming the way we do things. That can only be accomplished with hardcopies in my view. The fact that its being printed and published, means its a serious contender.

Anyone who can print a PDF can knock out an ebook.

This book torpedo's the whole cufflink, up arse mentality that existed before this ordanance hits.. Its disruptive to everything the cufflink battalion stand for.

Ah yeah, totally get that - printed hardcopies give it the legitimacy it needs and deserves; just thought it'd be worth considering both - not just because it adds another distribution channel, but also because it'd be in sync of the forward-thinking-ness of 4N.
