Good morning everybody,
I noticed that Brad doesn´t like MacBooks. (I understand that has to do with his fingers.) ;-)
What is your opinion on the war between Microsoft and Apple.
Cheers

Peter.....I think you havepotentially open the worlds biggest can of worms here.......
Having never really used a Mac I cant comment personally...however I do know that most people doing any form of design work will live on a Mac...
Kind Regards

“Matt, my increase in business has indeed been down to your eBook. It took me back to basics, my script was only 20% of the delivery and the rest was attitude. Basically I have spent a fiver and made two grand so far…..Thanks again!”
John Galt, Director – John Galt Consulting
“Even though I had a background in Business Development, within a B2B environment, I was struggling to hit targets within a telesales environment. Matt was recommended to me and I was instantly impressed that he didn’t try and teach me a set of prescribed theories. Instead, he took the time to observe me and quickly assessed where I was strong and where I needed help. From this point he worked with me to develop techniques that emphasised my strengths and improved my weaknesses. Matt’s guidance significantly improved my ability to hold effective telephone conversations with clients that are leading to genuine enquires and sales.”
James Godfrey, Sales Executive – Hardosft Computers Cambridge

I have a MacBook Pro at home, and on the road, and have standard PCs at work, and I can honestly say I would never dream of getting rid of the mac!
If it werent for training needed, I would be looking to replace network in office with macs

I had a macbook air when they came out, fell asleep one night with it on my lap and it burnt a blister on my arm. The scar looked like the apple logo, which I was strangely pleased with.
True story.

Just one tiny remark and then I must run not to be dragged too near the can of worms: In my entire career (and thats quite some years, just look at my grey hair), I had numerous people switching to the Mac, but never a single person who went from Mac to Windows.
And for those in this discussion or elsewhere, leaning towards a Mac: Talk to me. That's what I do, giving proper advice in plain English (or German, if you insist).
MERTENS CONSULTING - Specialist IT CONSULTING in the West Country for small businesses on Apple Mac and other fine systems. Yes, its true, an Apple Mac is very suitable for proper business use, it's not just a graphics and layout machine. Ask me how to do the switch from Windows and get rid of many computer headaches.
"For the first time ever, I could actually understand what a computer guy was talking about and why it was relevant for my business." That is what I do. I speak your language. I'm not just selling stuff.

I went from Mac (OS 8) to Windows 98, to XP, back to Mac (OSX) and now back to XP. I have no affiliation to either, Mac's are beautiful and just work without headaches, but then I've never really had a problem with my PC. They're just tools like pens and paper really.
