Hear's something we're trying, would be interesting to see what people think of it and if you think it'll work.

We're adding this link with emails we're sending out at the moment. Tried to keep the page as simple as posible with a hope that it captures peoples antention so they click to find out more.
I've seen this done a few times with a still image paning from side to side a little, with some good design this could work so much better than what I've seen before I think.

Hi Pete,
Great idea and very clever like Gareth said (the other Gareth! ) I can see many possibilities and applications.
If I was going to be critical, I would work on the typography and typeface used, does it have to have the white glow around it, does it need to be in the middle of the card/image?
Just my opinion but overall it really is a great idea!

Thanks for comments, any sugestions for typeface ? I'll have a fiddle with the white glow, there's a little shadow behind it to... trying to make it stand out on both light and dark backgrounds within the image.

I was thinking of putting a stamp in the top right corner too..... will have to make up a silhouette of a head or somin.

Peter - We used to do a bit of work using QTVR about 8 years ago. Dead easy, dead fun!
If I was you I'd make it more of a postcard so yes, a stamp would be right BUT it should be on the back.
If you're really clever you could build a flippable card with a contact form on the back.
Now that's a project I'd get my teeth into!

I'd second Lees idea - great idea, more of a postcard then and more usable, people would email that to each other!

Ok, I've changed a few things. Have another look, what do you think? It would be nice to animate the page curl a little, have no idea how do to that.
Cheers,
Pete
