I've heard about this rumour about 6 times now - just on this page.

Looks interesting. I have not seen any official announcement yet.
They have had some serious problems recently.
We have never offered Quinn policies to our clients and I know many other brokers who will not either.

Hi all,
I am new here, but Quinn did the insurance for my company last year and they were awful.
I would never recommend them to any friend of mine.

Comment on 4/12/08 from Laura Mansfield, Regional Broker Manager for Quinn Insurance (Laura registered as an online memberearlier this week)
"Following recent "speculation", I am pleased to advise that there will be a press release today with news of the creation of 350 jobs in our new offices in Cork. There will be a formal announcementl ater by Quinn Insurance, and the building will be
officially opened by the Tanaiste (UK equivalent of the deputy prime
minister) Mary Coughlan.
In total, more than 600 employees will work at the new office in Little
Island.
The London office, based at 62 Cornhill will be staffed and fully operational in January."

I don't use them at the moment, but my children have - for 18 year olds its any policy they can afford to get on the road!!
For the sake of the staff, I hope they make it!
