Could anyone recommend some software - freeware? - to help me record how much time I spend on different clients' work? I've got several projects on the go at the mo and need to keep details of how long I spend on each.
[Gah wish you could edit the subject line on these posts .....]
Best wishes,
Alison

Alison - ask Kerry-Anne Orr. She recommended something on here some time ago.
There is a way of editing subject line...
1. If you have not typed your message yet click the edit button, which stays in place for 10-15 mins only. Lower LH corner there's a delete option. Delete and start again as a new post.
2. If you have typed your message, just copy to clipboard, delete your message as in (1)above, then start again as a new post.

Hi Alison,
I would say the same as Graham - traxtime everytime, very reasonable cost and very simple to use...http://www.spudcity.com/traxtime/traxtime.htm

Thanks, I'll have a look at those. And d'oh,. didn't think to delete and start again! The blame for the typo goes to my cat, sitting on the laptop again (as is the blame for the erroneous full stop in this post!!)
Best wishes,
Alison

I don't bother with a logging system other than excel as I generally spend a fair amount of time on something in any one 'sitting' but I know another VA who also swears by Traxtime...looks like they are heading for a monopoly situation!!!
