Thanks for the feedback, It looks as though its a bit antiquated as far as a mondern business tool goes.
Having said that I think I will list us as you can never have too many listings for you business! But I wont hold my breath!

I registered a few months back and last week got an email saying they had sent my details to a company who had enquired. They did not name the company just the business type and town so I cannot follow up. I await further developments!

Thats the frustrating bit - its anonymous for the enquirer - I cannot understand that - if someone is interested in your services, then surely they would welcome a brief intro call from you.
I have had 3 enquiries in 4 months - I don't know who from - although I know where they live ;-)

I've found Business Links vary immensely from area to area. The one I was with in Oxfordshire were actually very good, eg I co-branded my workshops with them so they advertised them in their newsletter and on their website and got me clients. Unfortunately the one up here in the Midlands doesn't offer a similar service.
I was on the supplier matching database with my IT business. Contacts were erratic, but I got one of my best clients from them, and that one led me on to several other clients on the same business park. So I have to say, it definately worked for me!

been on SMS for just over 18 months and never heard a thing. As Sarah says BL seems to vary from area to area, previously our SMS covered just Devon & Cornwall but now with the changes to BL I am of the understanding that it covers Somerset & Dorset as well.
