Hi Dave,
Now I'm no expert, but thought I'd put my 2pennies worth in.....
I've used a TomTom Go for about 4 years, and swear by it! They do do a larger widescreen version of it now, but am unsure of pricing.....(could check eBay?)
For that kind of money, I'd certainly recommend a TomTom as they're well priced, and (touch wood) I've had no problems at all with mine........I know there's others out there like Garmin but have had no experience with those, others may well have........hope that's offered a small token anyhoo......Rich

Good advice form Rupert......i know for definite the TomToms do have bluetooth etc in-built so is useful for handsfree useage etc. (mine's a touch antiquated now and doesn't have that, but great all the same.....)

hi gift wrap
take a look at the new viamichellin's...
they are based exactly the same as a tomtom but with a larger screen as per feedback.
the only real difference is... you get free updates, so you can get free camera locations, new maps etc.
take a look at our website www.jldata.co.uk as we usually update our products there.
The viamichellins are usually 199.99 but we supply for 130.00 and personally i'd recommend over a tomtom now...
stay away from garmin and other cheap copies as they are difficult to use.
Viamichellin is the same brand as the tyre maker "michellin" so its a reputable brand.

Hi Dave.
I love my Snooper Indago, had it for almost a year now. See it here.
User friendly, great graphics and best of all it's got speed camera locations and also mobile camera hot spots. Database of cameras is updated weekly so you can download updates as you wish.
(Ps. Going slightly off topic briefly, Cheltenham seems to be rife with mobile camera vans at the moment. Saw one in Swindon Lane last week. I do not condone speeing in 30mph zones but it is easy to creep over the limit. Keep an eye out!)

Not sure if I'm being stupid or something, but can't find the details of this new sat nave you are raving about on your website, anywhere else to look?

Tom Tom poi updates are available free through other routes than tom tom direct. they just assume you will be lazy and not look elsewhere. try Checkpoint and poiedit.

I bought a Tom Tom about 3 months ago and now I wouldn't leave home without it! It updates, uses bluetooth etc.
One word of warning with this or any other.................don't confuse your 'O's with zeros! I kept doing that and wondered why it kept lying to me!!!

Tom Tom are the market leaders and the most popular choice with Couriers - got 5 of them and they are fantastic espeacialy if you have a blue tooth phone
The only thing to be concerned about is the round circle in the window as it advertises you have a satnav in your glove box so go for a pocket size and be weary of foggy days as the circle stands out more.

Stop a SameDay courier and ask him which one he or she uses - they work with them 24/7 and most probaly tested several before making a commitment i.e. they have done their home work
Mind you trying to stop a same day courier could be dangerous - wait until he has turned his engine off..lol
