I have skype, but if I don't have mine set to contacts only, I get skyped by all kinds of people which drives me mad.
If I put a skype number on my website, wouldn't that mean that I would have to allow all calls and end up talking to people from Japan, and God knows where?

Am I silly or what (ok don't all shout at once). I put myself in skype me mode, so no wonder I had all and sundry calling me!
Is it a good idea to have your skype tel no on your website, and if so, how the hell do you do it?

I have often considered having a skype telephone number to show presence in other parts of the UK as we cover the country for AV installs. The danger of this is if someone dials for example an Edinburgh number (we are in Bristol) they might therefore expect us to be local! I have the opportunity on our Contact us page for people to contact us via Skype and the button shows if we are online which usually we are during working hours. Thats easy to do and we dont seem to get any "spam" contacts from it.
