The Red Brick Barn is a lovely retreat. Everything has been thought of, and Jane's caring nature is very evident. A Wonderful experience!

 

Having only booked a few days before, and it only being a few days since I was there with my family, I struggle to describe the experience of staying at the Red Brick Barn.

Simplicity, tranquility, and warmth mixed with a healthy dose of isolation meant that me and my family thoroughly enjoyed two nights of 'quality time' together.

A big thank you to Andrew and his family for their hospitality and we will return in the not too distant future.

We stayed at Redbrick Barn last month with our two kids (aged 2&4) and had the most relaxing time ever. Whatever the weather - if you ever need to get away from it all this is the place to truly relax.  Its so cosy with the wood burning stove, fresh eggs, and a friendly pig called 'Elvis' who the kids adore and still talk about.  Thanks for a great and welcoming time Andrew, see you there again next year (If there is availability!)

My journey with Andrew began in March 2001 when, at the age of 39, I found myself asking the question "Is this it"? It" being my life.

Andrew had been recommended to me by a friend as someone who could help me answer this question and deal with some of the stuff that I wanted to deal with in order to have happier more fulfilled life.....and so my journey with Andrew began.

In the middle of dealing with some of my stuff I found out that I was going to be made redundant from the law firm where I was working as a matrimonial solicitor. A throw away comment during one of my sessions with Andrew about doing "a mad thing" meant that "my mad thing".....the small matter of setting up my own law firm...... was born!

On my 40th birthday in 2002, Colette Stroud Solicitors, Family Law Specialists went live (from the box room at my home!) due, in the main, to the inspiring, confidence building work that I had done with Andrew. 6 years on, Colette Stroud Solicitors is still going strong from our office in Ponteland and I am still as passionate about the practice of family law as I was when I qualified as a solicitor in 1986.

Andrew Pearce is a highly skilled and caring professional. There is no doubt in my mind that I would not have achieved all that I have achieved, personally and professionally, without his help and support.

I trust him completely with my emotional wellbeing on a personal and professional level. Andrew provides me with invaluable support as well as the space and time to talk about and deal with all the challenging stuff that life throws at me and which can potentially stop me from being as happy as I can be.

After chatting to Andrew at a 4networking event I took some time out to discuss some deeper issues I felt I needed to talk through with someone outside of my circle of friends and family.  Going to the small holding was therapy in itself and after chatting to Andrew for a few hours I came away from the session really understanding myself more and where my anxietes were stemming from.  I can honestly say after just one session with Andrew I'm in a completely different place and really happy with all aspects of my life.  I can't thank him enough!

Well, after about 3 months of building up to it, we have just returned from the Red Brick Barn..........

To make this easy, we all wish we were still there :-(

Andrew, Jayne, and his children (which are an absolute credit to their parents, so very polite and friendly) made my wife and I, and our 2 childred (aged 1 and 2) so very welcome. From allowing our children to go collect chickens eggs, to taking them in to feed the chickens and Elvis the pig, the entire break was way beyond our expectations.

Couple this with 4 days of no phone calls, emails, tv, etc, and we have all come back home feeling quite literaly 'Brand New'!!!!!

Now we are looking at booking up again as soon as possible.

What a guy Andrew is, by far one of the most friendly and genuine people you will meet.

We are booked to go to his cottage soon, and can not wait, the idea of a break away from the norm with no mobile signal or internet, well...its scary but wow, how good will that be!!!!!!

Jo and I had a fantastic 2 night stay - Elvis was great and so were the lambs.  On top of that what you offer at the Red Brick Barn is something to be really proud of.  You have both worked so hard and achieved a great deal.

We have just returned from 3 days in The Red Brick Barn. "We" consists of me and hubby, 2 rowdy boys and 2 even rowdier terriers.
What a FANTASTIC place to stop the world and recharge your batteries. Nothing is too much for Andrew and his lovely family who made us all feel very welcome. The kids were enthralled by all the animals including Elvis the pig, chickens, ducks and the little lambs who they had the chance to bottle feed.
The barn itself is very comfortable and the scenery is stunning. But the absolute best bit for anyone who needs a break is the point at the bottom of the road where the mobile phone signal just dies - absolute peace and quiet.
Highly recommended.
