Bizpro Ltd; the one stop shop for business administration is headed up by Kerry Anne Orr, a born organiser, and a rather curious creature who tends to pick things up very quickly. This has served her well in an extremely varied and enjoyable career to date.
Having worked full time for (well) over 15 years in a variety of managerial, strategic and operational posts in large and medium sized businesses Kerry often found herself wearing a number of hats; from Trainer to Quality Manager, from PA to Office Manager, from Project Management to Facilities Management, and even design work. From starting a job with a company as one thing, she would regularly take on more and more work to satisfy her need for variety.
Prior to the birth of her son, Kerry worked as a product support consultant offering a nationwide consultancy & training to construction project teams on the BIW web collaboration system. On her return from maternity leave she realised that to continue to do the job well she would need to spend many days away from her six month old son and would really only get to see him at weekends.
Having always toyed with the idea of setting up her own business, it was at this point she realised the skills and experience gained over her career to date could be put to better use.
She took the plunge and set up on her offering a wide variety of business administration services from her home based virtual office. Bizpro Ltd was incorporated in December 2006, vat registered and ready to trade since 1st February 2007. As well as offering PA & Administration work, Bizpro Ltd also provides training, consultancy, event services, writing, reviewing, research, & design services.
So far so good. In the first month of trading Bizpro Ltd proved to be a successful venture, gaining a top London based bank as one of it's first clients. Within 6 months Bizpro had several clients, and employed the services of an associate, and widened the product range to include accounting services. One year on and Bizpro can now also boast a major public body as one of its clients as well as several SME's. In our first year we have exceeded all expectations, and more to the point, enjoyed every step! It is early days yet, but Kerry is confident Bizpro Ltd will continue with this success.
