Born and bred in Hull, too many years ago to mention! Joined the RAF at 18 and enjoyed 10 happy years, continued as an electronics engineer before turning my head to the financial services sector.  Spent over 20 years as a Financial Advisor then in 2003 decided to join my wife, Ann, in the retail sector, where we bought and  ran a small independant department store.  However, late last year I decided that a new challenge was needed, so decided to buy the franchise for thebestofhull, to which I have now added thebestofbeverley.  Also decided to bring my networking skills back into action and became the Group Leader for 4Networking in Hull, took on the role of Area Leader running groups in HUll, Beverley and Doncaster, with a new group being launched in Grimsby.
