Vicky Robinson of Entertaining Acorns is passionate about making children's events fun. Her energy, organisation and many years of experience will ensure everyone has a great stress free party. Whether at a house or hall, whatever the budget.
Entertaining Acorns provide Activity parties, Dance parties, Facepainting and Themed parties. Vicky can cater for any type of party or event.
What happens at an activity party?
Your party will be adapted to the needs of the children and the event.
Once you have intially spoken to Vicky and booked the party she will contact you a week before to confirm the final arrangements.On the day Vicky will arrive early to set up.
During the event Vicky will interact with the children and lead a variety of games to include, relays, parachute games, action songs and music games. Vicky uses positive reinforcement and makes the birthday child the centre of attention (unless they are really shy). There are no sitting out games.
Dance Parties
I am able to provide dance parties for age 5 upwards.
It can be Michael Jackson, where you learn the Thriller dance.
Mamma Mia - to the original Abba songs.
High School Musical - With pom poms and full costume.
Songs of your choice. I have adapted a party to include any songs requested.
Themed parties
Vicky loves dressing up and adapts the games to a theme of your choice.

Come as you are - Playing games in our favourite sporty clothes.

Pirates - The children can dress as Girl and Boy pirates and play games on the seven seas.

Fairies - Fairies and Pixies enjoy mystical games
Facepainting can be incorporated into any party if required. Or just book me for your event as a facepainter.
