My first position in the Advertising industry with Bowden Dyble and Hayes in Manchester in 1976, one of the top agencies in the North of England. Two years later I was 'head hunted' by The Quick Brown Fox to join their very busy studio. After only 12 months I became studio manager. I was asked to run the retail department of the studio working on accounts such as Comet, Halfords and Martin Dawes. In 1985 I was made an Associate Director in charge of the sales team. My clients included ICI (now AstraZeneca), British Aerospace and Brook Motors. In 1990 I moved to Macclesfield Design Resources as a Director. Within the first 5 years, we increased the business substantially winning some excellent contracts. Our biggest gain being AstraZeneca's complete portfolio of medicines, our brief was to promote to their pharmaceutical operations, doctors and specialists worldwide, this included exhibitions, direct mail and packaging. By 2000 we employed 17 staff, moving to superb offices in a renovated church. Unfortunately, due to the MD's illness, in 2003 the company came to an end. In 2003 I started Enable Creativity, my own business.
