commissions

Commissions are welcome.  Prices are based on canvas size.  If you email Deborah via the form below, she will deal with you direct and can give you a price list.  Customer service is very important to Deborah, and she will be more than happy to chat about different aspects of the commission to make sure that she meets all your requirements.  

Paintings can be shipped anywhere.  Shipping is free until February 2011.

leasing

Deborah is currently offering a new branch of her business where home owners and business owners can lease a painting.  This means renting a piece of artwork suited to their requirements.  A minimum lease period is 3 months.  This can be extended to 6, 9 & 12 months, where the leaser then has the choice on a new lease on a different arwork, or the option of buying.

You'll be please to know its VERY affordable.  All lease fees are tiered depending on the size of the canvas.

Deborah can point you to the kind of artwork she does that is suitable and take into consideration all requirements.  She can do bespoke artworks too - you do not have to choose from stock.  The initial consultation is free of charge with no pressure.

Just a little notice before you read on:  I have just got married to Richard so I will be unavailable for some periods of time between 12th August and 10th September 2010. After that I will be back to carry on brightening your world :))

I grew up in the countryside of Suffolk England and began to capture the character of it's landscapes at an early age.  As I developed as a painter and illustrator, my love for landscape and its richness grew, and my current work reflects this.

Each of my paintings start with a basic sketch and plan. As it develops I allows the piece to show itself and breathe its own life. I looks for opportunities to augment and enhance colour relationships, and sometimes subtract to balance the composition.

The whole process of making art to me is like the natural growth and rhythm of the landscapes I portray – it starts with a seed and flourishes at it's own pace, giving rise to a rich depth, vibrancy and texture.
