See 4N in Action

At 4Networking we like to do things differently

Why join 4Networking?

4N is the social business network, with 200+ groups and online membership. Our total membership is 50000.

4N 50% social, 50% business and it works! But don’t take our word for it, watch what our members say!

What can you expect at a 4Networking meeting?

Breakfast meetings run from 8am to 10am and evening meetings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The format of the meetings is the same:

30 minutes of open networking: Ease yourself into the meeting with a chat over refreshments.

30 minutes of The 40 Seconds Round: Your opportunity to promote your business to the group and flag up who you’d like a 1-2-1 with.

A 30 minute period, within which is The 4Sight Slot: Not a sales pitch, but an interesting insight into the specialist field, experiences or areas of interest of a 4N member.

30 minutes of 1-2-1 Appointments: The heart of the event - three 10-minute 1-2-1 appointments with people you have chosen, helping you to fast-track social business relationships.

Meetings then close, but people are free to stay on and continue networking!

As you will see from the video, taken at breakfast meetings, it’s a vibrant and productive approach to networking.  Be yourself - talk, listen and above all have fun.

The history of 4Networking

As a start up business, Brad Burton didn’t realise that starting a business could be so difficult, having come from corporate life where you specialise at being good at what you are good at. Nobody told him that as a one man band you have to have sales, admin and accounts skills… Brad only had one skill... so things weren’t looking good.

Brad’s tough experiences of delivering pizza to keep his first business afloat and his first , not great, encounters with ‘business networking’ led directly to 4Networking being born.

4Networking the first year

In early 2006 Business Link filmed 4Networking as an example of a start-up using the internet at the heart of its operation. 4Networking was chosen from 24,000 businesses as one using modern values and technology to grow its network.

In this video you can see the initial vision for 4N being expressed - a vision which is now reality!
