At birth Ben was diagnosed with Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus, which meant that his life from birth has been filled with complications. However, this didn’t hold Ben back from reaching for his goals.
Despite becoming ill again during his time at university, Ben was not about to be defeated. He enrolled on the Princes Trust course and turned his attention fully to becoming a DJ.
Ben loves to please the crowd when out in his DJ role and delights in bringing out the emotions in people through their first dance, or special dedication. He loves watching kids jumping around and pretending to sing into their microphone hands.
Ben's love of music and joy in creating the party atmosphere are what make him a truly great DJ. He will bring the party with him and everyone leaves feeling on top of the world after a fabulous time on the dance floor.
Ben enjoys RnB and HipHop, but has noticed that a lot of his birthday parties come alive with Bryan Adams - Summer of 69, or for the younger ones he can’t go wrong with Let it Go from the movie Frozen, and a popular favourite at weddings at the moment is Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud.
The best thing about this job for Ben is that he turned his hobby into a business. He loves music and seeing his customers enjoying themselves on the dance floor gives him a huge amount of satisfaction.
In the future Ben would love to grow his business even further, working with like minded individuals who can help to take the DJ experience to parties as far as he can.
Ben is determined to keep moving forward and bringing joy to others is what really gives him satisfaction.
Ben helped me with a charity event I was holding and he provided the all the entertainment and equipment needed for the speakers. The event was all about health and happiness and Ben really set the atmosphere with the music and interacting with everyone who came. Would highly recommend!!!
