I was born in Selston on the Nottinghamshire Derbyshire boarder and I think my fascination for telephones started when I was about 4 and the telephone man came to fix the phone; I stood and watched fascinated. My dad was in the demolition business and one evening he brought home 2 telephones from a demolition job. Best toy I ever had. I joined what was then Post Office Telecommunications when I left school in 1977, where I stayed for 10 years, during which it became the wonderful (sic) BT. In 1987 I joined the newly formed Mercury Communications, and covered all the Midlands repairing faults on their network. I left in 1999 and went contracting until the dotcom bubble burst and the money and contract jobs disappeared pretty much over night. I started SEP Solutions in 2002 and our first ever job was a referral from an old friend who has an IT business.
I've recently moved to Kimberley to a quiet location with no traffic after living on a busy main road. Apart from Simba my ginger cat I am single. For entertainment any excuse for a curry, just ask. Also love cinema and having too many beers at the weekend. Also the occasional walk in Derbyshire.
