Small Business Coach of the Year
Having had a very successful and varied career in pharmaceuticals (mentoring, change leadership, continuous improvement, team leadership, project and portfolio management across global cross-functional teams), I have chosen to do full time what I really love: coaching and facilitation.
I help individuals and teams enjoy a more fulfilling life in and outside of work; my warmth and professionalism are valued by clients. I work on a freelance basis offering:
a) Group facilitation:
Design and delivery of thought-provoking and enlightening workshops to help individuals discover how to be the best they can be, boosting confidence and resilience, prioritising what is important to them and their goals, managing energy and time. http://www.sianrowsell.co.uk/group-facilitation/
b) Team coaching:
Building the desired team culture, defining the vision and objectives, elevating the performance of high-performing teams. http://www.sianrowsell.co.uk/team-coaching/
c) 1:1 coaching:
Calm yet challenging personal coach, bringing out the best in individuals, helping and inspiring them to grow and improve. I have a particular passion for helping professional women juggle multiple priorities across all areas of their life and improve their confidence and resilience by focussing on key issues and challenging limiting thinking.
d) The Macclesfield Bird Table:
The Macclesfield Bird Table is a confidential Business Development Group for Women in Macclesfield. The Macclesfield Bird Table group challenge each other to better and deeper thinking so that the members can develop their businesses. Some Bird Table members have been running fully formed, established businesses for years. Some are only just starting to trade. They all share the commitment to working in a confidential, supportive group, to grow and thrive in business. Each Macclesfield Bird Table group will have a maximum of 6 self-employed/business owners. http://www.sianrowsell.co.uk/the-macclesfield-bird-table/
I have highly developed interpersonal skills. I am an active empathic listener and present in the moment. I can rapidly strike up a good rapport, give out positive energy and am someone people enjoy working with. I am good at reading people, sensitive to the environment around me and adapt appropriately.
I am good at building trusting relationships. I can relieve conflicts by canvassing opinions and finding an acceptable alternative. I have an ability to see multiple perspectives, which helps others to unlock some of their own fixed thinking.
Interested in... people; passionate about making a difference.

I am a mother, coach, dance teacher, former school Governing Body Chair and research scientist.
I grew up in Brecon in the Brecon Beacons and then went to university in London. I started dancing while at university, competing for the Imperial College Ballroom team. After a short spell working at Leeds University, I started working for AstraZeneca (then Zeneca Pharmaceuticals) and settled in Macclesfield Cheshire where I live with my husband and two children. As well as being a qualified Personal Performance Coach, I am a fully-qualified Ballroom and Latin American dance teacher and teach adult classes in Macclesfield and also provide personal tuition.
