Why I’m good at what I do…
Simply Consulting's founder and principal, Clive Mulligan, is a business development and marketing professional with over 29 years experience and an exceptional record of business growth & development. Specialising in consulting with small and medium sized sales organisations with the target of getting them to continually improve and innovate. Clive has developed a number of high performing multi-skilled sales teams to award winning performance through people development, combined with a strong business development strategy. Clive's approach in developing people talent in conjunction with the overall business plan has resulted in sustainable growth and profitability and the development of strong long-term customer relationships. His personable, enquiring, consulting approach has resulted in him having a depth of understanding of the challenges faced by small and medium business owners. With a background in retail banking, industrial sales and financial services, Clive is also able to provide direction as to how finance can be used as a business development tool.
Married with a teenage son, Clive , when spare time allows, undertakes a number of voluntary roles with not for profit businesses. A self confessed Rugby Nut he was for a number of years the Club Secretary at Fullerians RFC
and continues to be involved as the clubs volunteer co-ordinator. A keen supporter of the Royal British Legion he also gives time to his local RBL club committee helping with marketing the clubs facilities. His other major passion is live music and can quite often be found behind his drum kit with his band "The Flaming Cortina's" in venues local to Watford and whilst its true his chance of stardom has probably passed him by his enthusiasm remains!
