Why hire a Virtual Assistant?
We free up your time so you can work on your business rather than in it!
We support small businesses and individuals by being an extra pair of hands when you need us. You can benefit from using our professional admin services by having us for as little or as long as you need. The work we do is of great quality at all times and you can rely on us to help you through a short term crisis, holiday cover, maternity leave or sickness, or on a more regular basis.
Hiring a VA is very cost effective - you only pay for the actual time worked, you don't have any employee costs - sick pay, pension contributions, PAYE, National Insurance, holiday pay - and you can also claim our costs as an expense to your business!
KB Virtual Services is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under the Data Protection Act and is a member of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). We are also fully insured with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
Hi - I'm Karen Broughton, married to Dean since July 1994 and we have two daughters, Laura born 1996 & Emily born 1999. We have lived in Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex since November 2003 and love it here.
I started my new role as a Virtual Admin Assistant in March 2015 working for a couple of people I had met through networking and officially launched on 1st August 2015 as KB Virtual Services when I finished my previous role. I work either at home or at the business if required - this can be either adhoc hours or for a set amount of hours per week or month.
My previous role was as the Private Clients Executive for Evans Insurance Brokers which I did from May 2013 - I then decided to go out on my own officially so resigned from my role with Evans at the end of July 2015. I looked after the Domestic insurance such as Household, Car and Travel - I met Dan Evans of Evans Insurance Brokers through 4N - so networking has worked for me!
Prior to joining Evans Insurance, I owned and ran the South Essex branch of Enchanted Childcare Nanny Agency from May 2010 to March 2013.
Before we moved to Burnham on Crouch, I worked full time for 21 years for Marks & Spencer Head Office in Baker Street, London, in various roles before taking voluntary redundancy in August 2003. I know, I know ... I don't look old enough ... ;)
Family, friends, wine and chocolate... not necessarily in that order... ;)
Big thanks for taking the headache out of renewing my home insurance. I really did not have the head for it right now and will be very glad when it comes to renewal next year and you will automatically take care of it again for me! Huge thanks again!
Thank you not only for taking great care of my brothers insurance but massively beating the best premium he could find too! Two insurance brokers working together, who'd have thought it!
I contacted Evans Insurance Brokers regarding buildings and contents insurance for our home (after seeing Karen at a 4N meeting earlier in the day!) Karen got in contact with me immediately and within a few hours had found us an appropriate policy. Her service was friendly, professional and efficient and I would certainly recommend her. I did a quick online quote to compare what I was paying as I had no idea what to expect and Karen's quote was the cheapest! I will certainly be using Evans Insurance again.
