What I Offer…

Having spent more than 30 years within the Financial Services and Banking sector I chose to become self-employed during 2013 and set up my own Financial Services Limited company.

I now advise on and review clients' savings, investments and pensions, as well as dealing with their protection needs, both personal and household. Following feedback from clients I can now arrange prepaid funerals as well as Wills and Powers of Attorney.

I have recently become a Distributor for Utility Warehouse Discount Club being yet another way to save my clients' money.

Many clients have invested or taken out some form of life cover or family assurance, certainly doing the right thing at the time. Unfortunately the vast majority never review their needs, costs, or the ongoing performance of these plans. This is something I look forward to doing with a view to making or saving my clients money.

What I enjoy doing with my clients is making their futures happen. This can be via savings or pensions to enable people to reach their goals be it, a comfortable retirement, getting their children through education, or just building a nice nest egg for something special.

What I also ensure is that future plans are protected. This could be by any number of protection plans. I ensure you have the right type of cover, the correct amount, cost effectively.

Why I’m good at what I do…

I originally worked for TSB in the City of London starting at the grass roots level of banking and working my way up through the Corporate environment. Having become tired of commuting, I left TSB and moved to Leeds Permanent Building Society, soon to merge with Halifax. Within that employ I carried out a range of roles including business development, mortgage advising, training, and being a high street Branch Manager. I eventually chose to follow the avenue of providing financial advice back in 2001 and soon after moved from Essex to Gloucestershire, and now Herefordshire. I spent 5 years with Santander, again in Bancassurance, but have now decided to move into the self-employed arena. This allows me to shrug off the constraints of High Street Banks, allowing me to provide what I believe is a much more personal service to clients and a relationship that can be more trusting and beneficial for my clients. My network provider is True Potential and with their multi award winning set up and personal approach to their partners I feel that the service I can offer people is the best yet.

Outside of work I'm married to Julia, having got married in Las Vegas in 2011. We enjoy travelling as much as possible, looking after our huge ginger tom (Thomas, 27lb), and returning to Essex to visit family and friends. I enjoy listening to music, especially rock, playing golf and am a keen Arsenal supporter.
