Passport membership

4Networking memberships are referred to as Passports.  4N Members are referred to as Passporters.

During your Passport membership term, you have unlimited access to every 4Networking meeting across the network, and you can attend as many meetings as you like. Each meeting also requires a cash fee of £15. Payable on entry, this fee covers meeting/venue costs.  It does not pay for food, which is complimentary.

  • The £15 meeting fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. 
  • There is no facility for pausing Passport memberships. 
  • Each month of membership equals one calendar month. Days draw down Monday through Sunday, including holidays. One day of membership equals one calendar day.
  • Your membership is assigned only to you, so you cannot send a substitute to a meeting, whether from the same organization or not.
  • Your membership cannot be transferred to anyone else. The only exception to this is permanent transfer to a different person in the same organization. This can be carried out, subject to a fee of £32 inc VAT (£20 admin fee + £12 for a new badge) and approval by a 4N Director.
  • You will be invited to renew your membership prior to its expiry. Renewal options are at preferential terms compared to re-joining options but are only available if your membership remains continuous. 
  • All transactions between you and 4Networking LTD are business to business transactions.  No refund is possible once payment has been processed.

You will be invited to renew your Passport membership prior to its expiry. Renewal options are only available if Passport membership remains continuous. If there is a gap in membership, you will need to rejoin 4Networking, when you will be given a choice of two rejoin options: 12 months for £365+VAT or 6 months for £200+VAT. 

You've joined a National Network

When you join 4Networking, you join the entire network of over 250 groups, not just a single group. This means that you will always have an array of groups to attend.  You can attend as many or as few of our meetings as you choose. 

There is no mandatory attendance requirement.  However, your long term success will be relevant to the number of meetings you attend.

We offer a mix of Breakfast, Lunch, and Evening groups, based on attendance trends across the network.

To keep the network vibrant, we will frequently launch new groups and close groups that don't fit in well with the regional or national growth and development.

Membership payment

The preferred method of payment is a debit/credit card. We do not accept American Express or cheques. 

We accept BACs payments for all joining options except the 3 months for £100+VAT option. For BACs payments please use your full name as your payment reference, payable to this account: 4Networking, Barclays Bank a/c no 03063801, sort code 20-85-26. However, all BACs payments must be authorized by 4NHQ prior to sending in payments. Email 4N Support Desk for authorization.

  • BACs payments incur a £20 inc VAT administration fee.
  • Payment by BACs is not available on the £100 joining option.
  • Payment by BACs is not available for any Passport renewal option.
  • Payment by BACS: Your Passport membership period commences from the date of the invoice, not the date when payment is received.

Renewing your Passport MEMBERSHIP

Before the end of your initial Passport term you will be invited to renew your membership, using these renewal options:

  • 12-month Passport membership (+ 1 month free): £365+VAT
  • 6-month Passport membership (+ 15 days free): £200+VAT
  • 3-month Passport membership: £100+VAT 
  • Passport Monthly: Your card will be charged £35+VAT on the same day each month until further notice.

These options are only available if there is no gap in membership between your initial membership and renewal.

Re-joining 4Networking

If your membership lapses and you then wish to re-join, these are the options available to you:

  • 12-month Passport membership: £365+VAT
  • 6-month Passport membership: £200+VAT

Both of these membership options are part of our 'Continuous Membership' programme, see below. 

Continuous Membership programme

In order to keep costs to a minimum and to offer an efficient Passport membership renewal service, 4Networking provides a ‘Continuous Membership’ programme. This is applicable to members who choose to renew their membership for the first time following their first membership period, and to members who re-join 4Networking after a gap in membership.

First-time membership renewal:

Once you have chosen to renew your membership for the first time following your initial membership period, you are then part of the 4Networking Continuous Membership programme. 

All membership renewals transacted by debit/credit card become Continuous Membership renewals. Continuous Membership renewal means that you are agreeing to renew your 4Networking Passport membership by debit/credit card and also agreeing that relevant future renewals can be collected automatically from the same card. This means that the following payment schedules are put in place, depending upon the Passport membership type you have subscribed to:

  • 12-month Passport membership (+ 1 month free): If you have just paid £365+VAT for 12 months Passport membership (+ 1 month free), the same debit/credit card will be charged £365+VAT every 12 months, giving you further blocks of 12-month (+ 1 month free) membership. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your membership 37 days prior to expiry, reminding you that this is coming up for renewal. This is 7 days ahead of the 30 day notice period required for cancellation (see Membership cancellation below). 
  • 6-month Passport membership (+ 15 days free): If you have just paid £200+VAT for 6 months Passport membership (+ 15 days free), the same debit/credit card will be charged £200+VAT every 6 months, giving you further blocks of 6-month (+15 days free) membership. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your membership 37 days prior to expiry, reminding you that this is coming up for renewal. This is 7 days ahead of the 30 day notice period required for cancellation (see Membership cancellation below). 
  • 3-month Passport membership: If you have just paid £100+VAT for 3 months Passport membership, the same debit/credit card will be charged £100+VAT every 3 months, giving you further blocks of 3-month membership. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your membership 37 days prior to expiry, reminding you that this is coming up for renewal. This is 7 days ahead of the 30 day notice period required for cancellation (see Membership cancellation below). 
  • Passport Monthly: Your card will be charged £35+VAT on the same day each month until further notice.

Re-joining 4Networking as a Passport member:

If you re-join 4Networking as a Passport member, following a gap in Passport membership, you become part of the Continuous Membership programme.

After rejoining using the 12-month or the 6-month options you are agreeing to renew your 4Networking Passport membership by debit/credit card and also agreeing that relevant future renewals can be collected automatically from the same card. This means that the following payment schedules are put in place, depending upon the Passport membership type you have subscribed to:

  • 12-month Passport membership: If you have just paid £365+VAT for 12 months Passport membership, the same debit/credit card will be charged £365+VAT every 12 months, giving you further blocks of 12-month membership. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your membership 37 days prior to expiry, reminding you that this is coming up for renewal. This is 7 days ahead of the 30 day notice period required for cancellation (see Membership cancellation below). 
  • 6-month Passport membership: If you have just paid £200+VAT for 6 months Passport membership, the same debit/credit card will be charged £200+VAT every 6 months, giving you further blocks of 6-month membership. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your membership 37 days prior to expiry, reminding you that this is coming up for renewal. This is 7 days ahead of the 30 day notice period required for cancellation (see Membership cancellation below). 

If your Passport membership days have been extended through receiving Invite-a-Friend days or as a result of team membership, then the renewal collection dates will reflect these changes.

If Continuous Membership renewal payment fails as a result of a debit/credit card no longer being active or a change of card expiry date, 4Networking will contact you to request updated card details. If you know that you have been issued with a new card since your last payment to us, it would be really helpful if you could inform us ahead of us trying to take this next payment – you can do this by calling the  Support Desk on 0345 123 4444.

ONLINE UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIP

Online Unlimited membership gives you unlimited access to all areas and features on the 4Networking website, but not to 4Networking meetings. It is available to anyone who is not currently a 4N Passport member. The cost is £14.99+VAT per month, paid by an initial payment of £14.99+VAT by debit/credit card. For the second and subsequent months, your card will be charged £14.99+VAT on the same day each month until further notice.

Membership cancellation

For all types of initial paid membership, ie Passport membership for 12 months, 6 months or 3 months; Online Unlimited membership; membership renewals, and promotional offers, no cancellation or refund is possible once payment has been processed.   

For all types of paid 4Networking membership, at least 30 days' notice is required in writing to cancel your membership. This notice period is the 30 days prior to the expiry date of the current term of your Continuous Membership.  The notice must be given by email to supportdesk@4networking.biz. 4Networking will automatically acknowledge your cancellation email by return email. If you do not receive this email and cannot provide it to us on request, your cancellation will not be valid.

If you wish to cancel membership after the 30 day notice period has passed, but before a renewal payment is processed, you will be charged an administration fee of £35+VAT (£42 inc VAT). Any refund due will be paid no later than 10 days after the refund has been requested. The refund will be the membership fee that was paid less the £35+VAT administration fee.  

 

Online membership

Anyone can register to become a free of charge Online Only member on the Website. This allows you to set up an online profile page and gives you basic access to the Website. For more comprehensive access to the Website and all of its online networking facilities, you will need to upgrade to Online Unlimited membership.

use of the 4networking website

As an Online Only member, Online Unlimited member or Passport member, you undertake that:

  • All registration details that you provide are true and correct and you will keep the information updated.
  • You will use a real name, and be able to provide proof of identity if we ask.  You must use your real first and last names on your 4N profile.
  • Your use of the Website does not violate these terms and conditions nor breach any applicable laws.
  • You own all intellectual property rights to any content uploaded to the Website or you have a licence from the owner of the intellectual property rights to post upload and display such content.
  • You will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, harassing, obscene, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, pornographic, or otherwise in violation of any UK laws relating to online conduct.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive royalty-free sub-licensable perpetual worldwide licence to use modify, publish and display and distribute such content on and through the Website and in any other form or medium.
  • You will not upload, post or otherwise display any content on the Website which contains software viruses, or any that contains chain letters, bulk mail, junk mail, spam or similar.

4Networking on Facebook

4Networking has three major presences on Facebook.  The 4Networking HQ page is maintained by 4Networking Ltd.

We also have two Facebook Groups managed by 4Networking Ltd.  There are additional facebook Groups and pages managed by our local teams.

The two facebook groups managed by 4Networking Ltd are free of charge to access, but we restrict access to the 4Netwokring Passporters group to current members of 4Networking (Passporters and Online Unlimited members) as an additional benefit of active membership.

The 4Networking Community is a public group.  Anyone can apply to be a member of the Community group and membership is not limited to people registered on the 4Networking website.

The 4Networking Passporters group is an exclusive closed group provided for our members.

4Networking reserves the right to decline membership applications to the group without notice or explanation. Both Groups are moderated, with specific rules posted to provide posting guidelines. In cases of persistent abuse of the group's ethics, members will be blocked.

Images submitted for 4N Meeting of the Week may be cropped and re-coloured. All images and captions submitted become eligible for 4N to use in future marketing material online and offline.

Access restriction, suspension, termination, and alteration

4Networking may at any time without notice and for any reason deny you access to the Website or to any aspect of the Networking Service.

You agree that we may delete, edit, lock move or remove any content without notice and for any reason and/or to record the IP address from which any content is posted, uploaded or displayed without notice and for any reason, (including, without limitation) content which is in breach of these terms.

You shall not be entitled to a refund of any amount corresponding to the unexpired portion of your membership if your access to the Website and/or the networking service is restricted, suspended or terminated.

Indemnity and exclusion of liability

Use of the Website and the Networking Service is at your own risk. Both are provided on an "as is" basis. You are solely responsible for how you interact with other users of the Website and the Networking Service.

4Networking disclaims all liability whatsoever whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) as a result of or in connection with the Website and/or the Networking Service for any economic loss, loss of goodwill or reputation, or special or indirect or consequential loss or otherwise and all implied warranties terms and conditions relating to the Website and the Networking Service are hereby excluded. In particular, 4Networking accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage sustained by you as a result, directly or indirectly arising out of:

  • the conduct of any user of the Website.
  • any technical or other failures of the Website.
  • your attendance at events and meetings with other users of the Website and the Networking Service. 4Networking does not provide any warranty as to the fitness or otherwise of the venue nor the owner and/or operator of the venue at which 4Networking meetings take place.
  • any dealings that you have with any users of the Website and/or the Networking Service.
  • any subsequent arrangements, contracts, agreements or business relationships that you enter into with any person (whether a Member or otherwise) as a result of or facilitated by your use of the Website or the Networking Service.

If 4Networking is found to be liable to you directly or indirectly in relation to the Website or the Networking Service that liability shall be limited to the Passport membership fee. Nothing in these terms shall limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. You agree to indemnify us in full and on demand against any loss, damage, costs or expenses which we suffer or incur directly or indirectly as a result of your use of the Website and the Networking Service.

Updating our terms and conditions

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time at our discretion. Amended terms shall become effective as soon as they are placed on the Website and your continued use of the Website and the Networking Service constitutes acceptance by you of the updated terms.
